What's on.....

Cwmni Cletwr now organises a wide range of activities for locals and visitors, including talks, courses, walks, concerts, story-telling, craft fairs, films, exhibitions and activities for learners.

Much of this has been made possible through a grant of £10,000 in 2015 from Santander, which helps pay for a part-time Events Co-ordinator and publicity materials.

If you would like to organise an event at Siop Cynfelyn please contact us.

£5 per person.A "Ladybirder" guided walk

"As day turns to night, the nightjars take to flight. Borth Bog national Nature Reserve is the summer home of one of Wales’ most fascinating birds; the Nightjar. They hunt beetles and moths in flight in the dawn and dusk twilight, helped by their wide gape, and near-silent, highly agile flight that earned them a supernatural reputation in early times. Also known as the goatsucker, their appearance and song has frightened and entranced rural people in equal measures, for centuries.Join us to seek out these gems and other species of the night, including bats and owls.

This late evening walk will take us into the night, so please bring a torch. Midge repellent is HIGHLY recommended as the Bog is their home too. The walking is flat and easy.

No dogs are allowed on the Reserve.
Where?: Meet at Siop Cynfelyn, also known as 'Cletwr'.
