Building update

Work is going well and on schedule.
You can see more details, plus some pictures of the new building, on our Big Build Blog

AGM 2016

The Annual General Meeting of Cwmni Cymunedol Cletwr was held on Sunday November 27th.
The meeting heard reports from the Chair and Treasurer, and elections were held for the Board of Directors. Three directors stood down: Shelagh Hourahane, Sylvie Fombonne and Marie Hockenhull-Smith. All three were thanked for their work for Cletwr. A presentation was made to Shelagh who was standing down after five years as Chair, and without whom Cletwr would not be the success it is.
Two new directors were elected: Chris Forster-Brown and Ant Jarrett.
The remaining directors were re-appointed: Helen Ovens, Cath Lloyd Williams, Rose Phillips, Barry Wise and Nigel Callaghan.
Barry was re-elected as Treasurer, Rose was elected as Secretary and Nigel as Chair.

How about volunteering?

We are looking for more people to join our team of volunteers. It's a great opportunity to meet people, make friends and learn new skills - and of course to help Cwmni Cletwr serve our community. Find out more here

A chance to practise your Welsh at Siop Cynfelyn.

Every 3rd Saturday in the month, there is an informal gathering in the Cwtch, 11am onwards, where you can have an opportunity to practise your Welsh and talk to people who are learning it.

These friendly and enjoyable sessions have been very successful thus far, so come along next time and get a taste of Welsh over a delicious cup of coffee.
